Sobre o BRTData

O BRTData reúne informações sobre sistemas de prioridade ao ônibus em cidades do mundo todo. A plataforma é fonte de pesquisa para acadêmicos, jornalistas, estudantes e técnicos municipais, além fornecer embasamento técnico para a tomada de decisões referentes ao transporte coletivo.

Os dados apresentados aqui contemplam sistemas BRT (Bus Rapid Transit - faixas dedicadas centrais, pré-pagamento da tarifa e estações com embarque em nível) e sistemas de prioridade ao ônibus: casos de cidades que contam com corredores dedicados, mas sem alguns dos elementos que compõem um BRT. O site permite conhecer os sistemas e corredores de cada cidade, comparar indicadores e gerar gráficos.

O BRTData foi desenvolvido pelo BRT+ CoE, um centro de excelência em BRT, e pelo WRI, com colaboração do Instituto de Políticas de Transporte e Desenvolvimento (ITDP). A plataforma é atualizada mensalmente com dados confiáveis e verificados pelo WRI Brasil Ross Centro para Cidades Sustentáveis.
